Still
The basic principle of the series 'Still' is the fluidity of the
clay Olav Slingerland is working with. While pouring clay in a
mould, the form comes into existence. This process is translated to
a mass of clay, poured out of a vase and 'frozen' at the moment it
flows over the edge.
The title 'Still' refers to the indication of a frozen video or film
fragment.
